Juan Gone hurt already

First at-bat in a year and it looks like he pulled a muscle running out a grounder. He hobbled off the field... not that anybody has him anymore at this point.

Indians manager Eric Wedge admitted that Juan Gonzalez likely would return to the disabled list after aggravating his right hamstring tonight.
Gonzalez will return to Cleveland tomorrow to have his leg examined. Bringing back Ryan Ludwick won't be an option, so the Indians likely will purchase the contract of Mike Kinkade or Ernie Young from Triple-A Buffalo

According to the Indians, Juan Gonzalez's hamstring tore completely off the bone as he ran to first base during his 2005 debut.

Our Take
''Juan might be out up to three months,'' trainer Lonnie Soloff said. ''This is an uncommon injury in baseball players. Right now, it's quite swollen and sore. We'll re-examine him in two weeks after the pain and swelling subside. A determination on when he can return to play will be made then.''
