Pena a MudHen-Shelton gets a shot

Carlos Pena finally played himself out of the majors, at least for the time being. He has been sent down to Toledo.

Chris Shelton will has been called up to fill his spot after hitting .340ish. No defensive specialist by any stretch of the imagination, Shelton will be looked on to provide much needed power at 1B/DH. He will likely split time at first with Young.

This move needed to be made. Pena was struggling beyond "just a slump". Shelton should prove to be a fine player to have in the lower third of the lineup.
