No, but that doesn't mean that Ichiro or another player won't win it. In fact, I'm sure that Arod won't win it.

The way he's going, he'll probably lead the league in homeruns, but I still wouldn't count out Manny and Vlad--all it takes is a hot streak like Arod just had to catch up.
Arod's chance at the RBI title depends on if he's move up a little bit. Why isn't he batting fourth with the tear he's on?

Joe alternates his righty and lefty bats religiously and I think he buys into this Japanese position of honor bullcrap so Matsui is batting 4th meanwhile he has less power than John Flaherty at this point.
I wouldn't be the least surprised to see Ichiro have one of those .400+ second halfs and win the batting title, but I'd be a little surprised to see Vlad recover enough to take the RBI title. Manny wouldn't surprise me one bit. All I'm saying is, there's a chance and I hope he has a shot at it in August because it would be a great story to follow compared to all the negative crap plaguing baseball recently.
slim to none chance that Arod wins the batting crown,,,,, in fact i imagine arods BA will slip down to the 290-300 range by the time september gets here....

No, but does anyone see A-Rods AVG staying at .330 for the rest of the year?
I still think it is way too early to be thinking about it.
He is 4th in BA and has a slim lead in HR and RBI.
I'll be happy to bring it back up in late July.
