Aaron Boone. He would be overpaid if he was paying the Indians.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

1. Braves giving a top pitching prospect for Kolb.

(That just stands out because its close to home)
2. E.Milton getting 25million by the Reds. The guy gave up the most HR last year.. they thought moving him to that launching pad would help???? HA!
3. As mentioned Beltre. I've heard that it's maybe due to a change in NL to AL. I don't buy it. He hasn't put up those kind of numbers in multiple years thus he shouldn't be given that fat of a contract.

the beltre signing made sense. the kid had always had the talent to do well, and last year he changed his hitting approach and you aw the results.
it's anyone's guess why he's changed it back to his old way of hittting (although i'm pretty sure TheYanks04 has a theory....

) and i'm willing to cut him a little slack because of the league change. i think he's a great buy-low candidtate right now, but i also think it's realistic that if he'll never come close to what he did last year, which would be very bad for both the marainers and my 14 team cafe keeper league, in which i took him 9th overall. >_<
