I heard a 4 mil minor league contract. Stephen Drew was also signed at the last minute by Arizona for a 5.5 mil major league contract.

Thanks for the info!! Just swooped on them both in a prospect draft... (had overdue picks) they couldn't be drafted before due to not having a mlb contract...

Yes I have. Saw Long Beach State pitch a few times (saw Weaver twice). He looks way taller than Jeff; can't teach physical attributes. Was at the first few games ever in Petco where Weaver's teammate Ramos? shut out SDSU in some tournament.

I have Jeff Weaver on a fantasy team and if you can't tell, I'm quite disappointed. Cut me some slack :-D
