Jones had been doing a tremendous job closeing out games but he lost todays game for the Marlins. Is it Mota time?

I've been wondering about this lately, sounds like it's Jones' job to lose ... I don't know quite what it'll actually take for him to lose it, but I'm guessing it'll be more than allowing one run in a tie game. I've got both, so for now I'm content to wait it out and just let one closer use two roster spots. The non-closer has been giving me decent ratios, anyway.

I'm really hoping the loss today will prompt Florida to give Mota a shot!

Mota's outings since back have not yet been stellar. I think its Mota's job to win back if once he gets to 100%, particularly with Jones losing the game today

I agree. Jones was good while Mota was on the shelf, so why rush things? Let Mota get back in the swing of things, then phase him back in as the primary closer. McKeon is wacky, but there's no way he's so confused he thinks its still 2000.
If I could choose, I would rather have Mota than Jones for the long haul.

If you look at Jone's numbers from the past few years, you'll realize that he is not the long term answer as anyone's closer. If you have banked any of T.Jones' 8 saves then you have earned your waiver pickup cost used to acquire him.

Amen, brother. Jones has been pitching way over his head. You don't go from journeyman to Gagne overnight. He just hasn't thrown enough innings this year for the laws of statistics to catch up.
Water always finds its level. Jones will falter and Mota will take over. For me it's not a matter of "if" but rather "when."
I can't hold a roster spot for Mota more than 2-3 weeks.
