Has anyone heard whether Octavio threw this weekend or was his elbow too tender? I want to pick him up off waivers but fear he is heading toward the knife. Any A's fans, or Bay cities folk with info? thanks.

I saw this comming when he was asking for a second opinion. So I put a ridiculous trade offer in 2 days ago to trade Dotel for Capuano. But the idiot hasn't checked his team yet to see it. Now I don't have a snowball's chance in hell.
