Good ballot. Finally someone else is voting with their heart. I felt lonely. ;-D

AL - starters then backups

1b - Texeria -- he's simply the best 1b in the AL, and is starting to turn things on as the rangers get into the swing of things
(sweeny)

2b - Roberts -- cant argue with the start to the season, soriano might have caught up by the break, but right now roberts has the edge
(soriano)

3b - Arod -- best player in baseball, no arguments accepted
(Mora or Blalock, hard to call right now)

SS - Tejada -- one of the best players in the game, invaluable to his team, and just produces all over
(Young)

C - Varitek -- best hitting catcher playing right now

OF - Damon -- surpsing yr so far, playing better than manny
OF - Sheffield -- one of the top producers in baseball right now, perennial mvp cannidate
OF -- ichiro - has been in a little slump, but still one of the best fantasy OF's and invaluable to the mariners
(vlad is hurt so he was left off)

DH - Ortiz -- didnt want to, but his all around production is keeping the sox afloat

Bench -- Dellucci (best lead off man in the game right now, walks and OBP), Manny, Jeter

SP - KENNY ROGERS -- 7 wins, leads the league in ERA, if a lefty comes up to bat, he might as well sit down

SP - Garland, Halladay, Buerhle, Santana, Colon
RP - Cordero (leads league in saves), BJ Ryan, Nathan

Normally you only select the position players, although some have done the pitching as well. Also, he's Kenny Rogers. I never remember him being fun to watch. But most of all, there may not be room for him with all the Sox and Yanks that are likely to be on the team.
