I don't think that is how it works, you have to make arrangements with that other person to play. Also, seems like this week window is somewhat flexible, as I didn't get to play due to moving into a new apartment and I'm likely going to play sometime this week if I EVER get internet service again!

Forfeits can only be awarded when your opponent agrees to the forfeit. Arrangements must be made otherwise.

This was an email I got from him after not hearing back from him for days

Well I'd imagine it's up to you then. I don't see any logistical reason that each match has to be played during each week. Things come up, and sometimes exceptions need to be made. If he agrees to a forfeit, I guess that's your gain then.

I dont really want a forfeit. I would rather play the match if I could, however do we have any other options if the other party cant make it? Or could we just do what baseball does and reschedule for later in the season??
