Daric barton or Lasting Milledge?? I would say Lasting before Barton but I wonder if they will get even a small taste this year

Lastings will almost definitly not be up this year. MAYBE for the 40-man roster if he completely TEARS up the minors. theres pleny of OF ahead of him tho. Beltran, Floyd, Cameron, Diaz, M Anderson, Valent, Woodward. They may not be great but they r all ahead of Milledge.

yeah, I think Milledge and Barton are at least looking at Sept 06 cups at the ear;iest...

I saw an interview with someone in Az front office recently, and he said you could see both Jackson and Quentin if injuries let us get lucky :-D

Barton is more likely to get a Sept. call-up as he is much more polished and could move faster. Milledge I really doubt would be considered for a call-up, unless they just want to give him a quick look.

Barton has been moved to 1b to make sure that his bat develops. He was never a great defensive catcher anyway.
