Yep - he was pretty upset at getting pulled early - Gibbons doesn't seem to have much faith in him right now. With Downs pitching so effectively, I'm surprised they haven't moved Bush out of the rotation. If they aren't going to give him a chance to finish 5 innings, why let him start at all?
You've never seen a pitcher upset at being taken out? Happens all the time. I can remember a number of memorable times involving the Blue Jays - mostly back in the Cito Gaston days. Todd Stottlemyer, David Wells and Juan Guzman all had occasion to yell at Cito on the mound - Wells even threw his glove at one point.

If Walker keeps pitching the way he has in long relief, and the way he did in his first start (limited to only 75 pitches) I think he'll stick in the rotation.
If Bush does well down in Triple-A (hasn't really happened yet) then he might be back, but much later in the season I feel.

good game for bush yesterday against richmond. he went 7.1 gave up 9 hits, but only 1ER, no walks and 5Ks.
his previous start wasn't bad either...went 6IP and gave up 3 runs...let's hope he'll continue to pitch well. as much as i liked the way walker pitched against the O's, i prefer seeing him as a long reliever.
