McPherson showing signs of life?

Postby rmeesig » Sat May 28, 2005 10:30 am

Two nights, two HR. He was never projected to hit much for avg (260-70 range is what I've seen) but his power numbers were projected to be above avg for a rook.

What does everyone see from here on out for young Mr McPherson? Worth taking a flyer on in a non-keeper league? Or only worthwhile for the keeper leagues?

There was talk of sending him down to work on his stroke. Nice motivation, Scioscia. ;-D

Definitely worth a serious look in keepers, probably a good guy to keep an eye on in non keeper leagues too if youre short on power.

Both of those Homers were bombs to dead center. The one yesterday was 425 ft and the one the day before was 420 ft. They both won the game. The night before that he had a triple off the top of the right center wall that was about an inch from being a homer. He is also working the count much better and has had some 9 pitch AB's.

Oh I awould so love for Dallas to wake up.
I have had him riding the bench all season.
Fortunalty I had him in my DH spot the last couple of evenings, cus of matchups, so I look like a genius.

The kid has legit 40 home run power. ;-D

I am pulling for ya Dallas.

He has definitely been locked in the last couple games. ;-D He has looked a lot more comfortable at the plate as of late IMO, so hopefully he's found his groove and can pick up the slack for Vlad. ;-D
