Postby Trot Nixon » Sat May 28, 2005 10:00 am

Does anyone in the Toronto area have any info on Halladay? Last I heard was he was throwing on Thursday to see if the pain still is there, didn't know if anyone had an update. PLEASE be good :~(

I'm from Toronto and everything I've heard/read says Halladay is fine and has no lingering pain while he's been throwing this week. He starts tomorrow and should be 100%.

BUT, an oblique strain is often tough to get rid of and has a tendency of sticking around with pitchers. He may not be out of the woods. But all reports have been good. I'd start him tomorrow...if I had him.

That makes me nervous for him.
