Just said MRI revealed a small fracture during the Yankee/Red Sox game ... sounds like he might be done for the year.

Mark Prior - Starting Pitcher


ESPN is reporting that an MRI found a slight fracture in Mark Prior's elbow.
This will put the right-hander on the DL. For how long is anyone's guess at this point, but since he'll have to be shut down for at least a few weeks, it's unlikely he'll be back before the All-Star break. Jon Leicester could be called up to replace him in the rotation. May. 27 - 9:58 pm et
