Anyone have any thoughts as to who might be a possible NL pitching sleeper for the rest of the season? Looking for someone that hasn't been out becuase of injury like Sheets who is an obvious choice, but someone who has started real slow but should find a groove somewhere in the future.
I'll throw out a couple names. Anyone agree or have others?
Brandon Backe
Jeff Weaver
Al Leiter?

Look at some Brewers and Pirates pitchers, they've actually been doing well.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Backe is good if the Astros ever regain the ability to score runs. Doug Davis has been solid for me so far.
