Joe's had Bernie working in LF, taking some flies. With it being Boston, I'm not surprised Joe is going with a guy he has so much confidence in.

When they had Joe on yesterday he mentioned that he was going to mix Bernie in LF with Womack once Bernie gave him the "I'm confortable". He also said that he planned on playing Cano everyday at 2B only to spell him for Womack in certain situations. I guess this diminishes Womack's value, but only marginally. The Yanks have a pretty deep bench right now and a lot of flexibility
I think Boston may get swept if they're not careful this weekend.

Unfortunately, so could our Yanks if THEY'RE not careful. Hopefully they dont get wrapped up in the Yanks/Sox crap, and just continue playing good ball.
Pretty critical weekend with the O's facing the lowly Kittens.

Yeah, that was a surprise after hearing Bernie would be in Left. I think it's the right play though by Torre
