Really? That's interesting, I've been going to ESPN at least every other day if not everyday for a couple of years and I dont remember the last time I saw it down.

I think John Kruk must have wandered into the room where they keep the stats-updating computers and spilled some beer in the CPU because he thought the CD drive was a beverage holder.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

I always liked that song....

You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
when the dealin's done...

On a warm summer's evening
On a train bound for nowhere
Met up with a gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin
Through the window at the darkness
'Till boredom overtook us
And he began to speak

He said, son I made a living
Out of reading people's faces
Knowing what their cards were
By the way they held their eyes
If you don't mind my saying
I can see you're out of aces
For a sip of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice

...(chorus)

So I handed him my bottle
And he drank a mighty swallow
Then he bummed a cigarette
And asked me for a light
Then the night grew deathly quiet
And his face lost all expression
He said son, if you're going to play the game
You gotta learn to play it right

Because every gambler knows
That the secret to survival
Is knowing when to thow away
And knowing when to keep
'Cause every hand's a winner
Just like every hand's a loser
And the best that you can hope for
Is to die in your sleep

...(chorus 2x)

When he finished speaking
He turned back toward the window
Crushed out his cigarette
And faded off to sleep
Somewhere in the darkness
The gambler he broke even (or at 4.70)
And in his final words I found
An ace that I could keep

You gotta know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sitting at the table
There'll be time enough for counting
When the dealing's done

I use the fantasy and insider pages for all three major sports and yes, it does go down. And they have so many problems with links once you get deep in it. I think Karabel runs everything on the fantasy baseball page.
