I've got you all beat. On one squad in a 10-team head-to-head:
Schilling - DL, out to all-star break?
Miller - drafted to stash, finally back
Harden - DL
Thomson - DL, forced to drop
Patterson - DL
Bedard - DL
Halladay - pushed back, oblique strain
Harang - missed start, flu
L. Hernandez - injured knee, fortunately seems OK
I also have Vlad and KRod on that team, so even with 3 DL spots I'll be carrying at least three inactive players on my bench even without Thomson. My only other starters are Myers and Capuano in a league that counts IP, W, CG, K, S, Hld, ERA and WHIP. Until some of these guys get back, I can only hope to take saves, holds, ERA and WHIP, as I can't even spot start too frequently with a cap on moves.
In my 18-teamer, injuries to Escobar and Thomson left me with just Peavy as a reliable starter (Backe, Haren, Santos are my others), so I traded for Hudson and Millwood (giving up Barmes, Mauer [have Inge to C] and Turnbow [also have Lidge, Ryan, Wagner, Bruney] and got back M. Young to replace Barmes at SS as well as the pitchers), and Millwood immediately gets hurt (tough break, but I still like that trade for me). Hopefully Escobar can come back on Saturday so I can switch Millwood and him in my DL spot (only have one in that league and already dropped Thomson for Santos).
In my last league, a 12-team roto with two DL spots, I have Schilling, Harden, Thomson (dropped), KRod all DL'd and Halladay and Harang missing starts. Also had to drop Matos and Crosby and had K. Greene out for a while.
I swear, next year I'm going to find a hitting-only league to play in.

"Yeah, Dave's a killer."
"Dave's a mess."
