Bill Hall has saved my team this week. He's been the hottest shortstop this week after today's 4 rbi game. I've been looking for a decent shortstop for weeks (best two I have are k. matsui and adam everett :-P ). Whether its just a Hot streak or a breakout year he should be picked up

This guy has been a godsend for me this week too! :-) I put him in the lineup on a hunch and has done more for me in three days than O. Cabrera has done for me all season!

It might just be a fluke, the Brewers MI is pretty crowded with Spivey and J.J. Hardy, but Hall's outplaying them both, hopefully he turns into a guy like Freel, keeps the job, and O-Cab will never have to see the light of my starting lineup again! }:-) His positional flexibility is very nice, with him and Freel together I am capable of doing a lot of things.

Nothing to indicate this is anything that will last, as Hall has enjoyed spurts like this in the last only to return to his norm. He's basically a .260 type with a little sock, although he has always had some SB potential that's hasn't previously been tapped.

Main thing is that if you can get him free, may as well ride him, but I wouldn't drop anyone of note for him.

For some strange reason every time I watch Billy Hall play on TV he has a good game. If I saw every Brewers game he would probably go Jose Vidro (.310 90 15 70 10.) But alas, he's a fantasy backup.
Bold Predictions:

Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position

Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs

Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

He is the brewers utility infielder and while he gets decent playtime he still only plays between 50 and 67% of the time. Its pretty hard to start him in anything but deep or NL only leagues.

Chalk up another homerun and 2 rbi's for Hall. I think he's earned the right to be an everyday infielder especially with hardy not doing anything

Actually, Hardy seems to be coming around. In his last three games played, he's 4-7 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI. Prior to these last three games, he had really been hitting the ball hard but had just been getting tough luck. Coupled with the fact that he plays the best defense of the 3 Brewer middle infielders, and at age 23 needs to rack up the at-bats somewhere, he should be playing everyday. It's Junior Spivey who should be riding the pine to let Billy Hall play some 2B.
