Run Support?

Postby Redefine9d » Wed May 25, 2005 12:50 am

Anyone know where I can find run support numbers for this year? I'm wondering what Bartolo Colon's run support's looking like.

Yeah, I'd like to see these numbers too...

I'm pretty sure Greinke is the lowest at something ridiculous like 0.9 per game...

Postby BobbyRoberto » Wed May 25, 2005 1:50 am has pitcher's run support. Try this link: ... =a&pos=all

Or, step-by-step:
1. Go to ESPN's MLB main page
2. Click on Stats
3. Click on Player Pitching
4. Over on Sort Option, click on Exp. II
5. The column "RS" is run support. Roger Clemens is at 1.85 for the season.

The top 5:
Jamie Moyer--8.08
Carl Pavano--7.82
Chan Ho Park--7.52
Mike Hampton--7.36
Sidney Ponson--7.33

The Bottom 5:
Zack Greinke--1.39
Roger Clemens--1.85
Esteban Loaiza--1.90
Jake Westbrook--2.05
Bartolo Colon--2.26
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

Houston freakin blows, Clemens could have 7 or 8 wins by now if they could score 3 measly runs for him. :-t
