After I read your posts about him over the weekend, I added him to my watch list and kept an eye on him tonight against the electric Cards' offense...

He pitched a hell of a game tonight. It appears that he is now using his changeup more often and getting strikes with it. That way he doesn't have to use the fastball so much. He was more efficient with pitches than I ever think I have seen him.

Of course, since it was the Pirates offense and the Cards' pitching, he isn't going to get a win out of it.

He has 6 quality starts in a row. You can't ask for much more from the guy. ;-D

According yo Yahoo, he pitched 10 innings, even though they've only played 9 innings. That's the kind of pitcher I want on my staff!!
