Here is the situation. I just made a 2 for 1 player trade today, it was accepted this afternoon. I did this to make a slot on my roster to bring Mota back. If all goes well, the trade would go thru on Friday, meaning the players on the rosters Saturday.
My question is if Mota comes off the DL in real life for the Marlins, before the trade goes thru the vote stage, will the whole trade still go thru? I know YAHOO has a thing about that you can not make any transaction if you have some one on your YAHOO DL, but they are not on the real life DL in MLB. I have looked thru the YAHOO rules, and can not find anything about this situation. If anyone has any ideas or answers on this, please let me know. I really do not want to drop another player, if he comes off before the trade goes good, just to make this thing work out.
Hope this made sense
Thanks....

my gut feeling is that it will. but not 100 percent sure.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I believe but will not swear that will depend on whether the DL marking gets taken off before or after the trade is executed in the system. I have no idea which is likely to occur first on any given day. You could try emailing them for clarification.
you can leave a person on the dl after they are taken off in real life. BUT after that point, you cannot make an add/drop or trade without rectifying it. so you should be able to wait until it is processed, then take him off or whatever.
From what you say it sounds like since I made the trade, and it was acepted while Mota was on the real DL, I should be OK. Even if Mota comes off the DL while the trade is still in the voting stage.
That does make sense to me.
Thanks all for the responses

I'll be interested in seeing the answer; I was getting ready to post this same question.
I have a couple of trade offers out there, and a couple of guys that may or may not come off the DL real soon. IMO the trades should go through as long as they were offered before the DL change.
