Will Looper keep his job with the Mets all year? He has been pitching pretty decent lately. How secure is his job and his save chances?

In a word: Yes.

Put simply, the Mets pen is atrocious so he has no competition even if he did really faulter. Since he isn't doing that poorly, his job is that much more secure. Barring an injury or a massive trade (and it really would have to be for a great closer which is not going to happen) he will be the Mets closer all year.

Looper has the closer spot locked down, unless he has some sort of meltdown of course.
