With all of the badly slumping players, the # of injuries and the whole Balco fiasco... is Balco Fallout a real thing? Are power #s really down and injuries up?
Who are the most obvious results of Balco fallout? Giambi? Bonds? Sosa? Chavez? Lowell? Boone? Huff?
Are some of these players waiting to get randomly tested to get back on the roids?
Since HGH won't be tested for because it's a blood test, who is still on performance enhancing drugs?
DISCUSS!!!!

Nobody knows, and this has been covered to death both preseason and earlier in the season. Lets not start 10 more pages of wild speculation.
Help please:

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.
I just don't think it's worth it to bother with this discussion, yet. If certain playeres don't ever really play well again...then, that's one thing. So far, it's been a month and a half, though.

Well I could give one of my usually glib and sarcastic responses taking shots at the Bonds apologosts about how we would have to check Dr. Ting's prescription list or the quantity of flaxseed oil sold nationally...oh just did.
Seriously, this is TBD. The early indicators certainly point towards this being a factor, but it could just be a combo of bad weather, slumping players and freakish injuries. More will be known after the season as to whether we are seeing a statistical abberation early on or whether something more is in play. I happen to believe we will be seeing a correction to the numbers of a lot of players pretty soon and this theory will lose a lot of support. Then again, who knows.
