I've tried everything, but can't seem to pick up a closer who gets me saves. Does anyone have a system that works for winning the SAVE category?

well at the rate that closers are getting hurt, demoted or just plain bounced lately its almost a coin toss. alot of managers seem to be going the dreaded CBM angle. just try to read little blurbs and make a guess as to who will move into the role. thats pretty much what ive been doing. and of course read peoples opinions/comments here on the subject who are fans of the team.

Thanks for the input. I have Gagne on my roster. Should I just leave him in once he takes over the reins and go by committee until he comes back?

It is funny you bring this up because I play Rivera each week, and sometimes Hermanson. I currently have B. Looper, but Danny Kolb is on the waiver list and I am thinking of dropping Looper for Kolb.
I think Kolb got out of hit slump and has better save opportunities than Looper, but I am unsure.

the only thing that saved kolb last night was the fact that it was more than a one run lead. he still had control problems and gave up a lead off homer. otherwise its a bs. course bernero wasn't that great in the eight either but kolb certainly not any more reliable than he was before he lost the job.
