Well I wouldn't rule Wagner out of the deal. It looks like Cincy used Weathers to get the save last night. So they might be able to afford trading wagner.

"HOT FACES N' PLACES: Smith & Wollensky steakhouse was the place to be recently. Sexy songstress Mariah Carey, who was in town to tape an Oprah show and is riding high with her album "The Emancipation of Mimi," dropped in for lunch last week with her entourage. On a separate occasion, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and third-base coach Joey Cora dined with ESPN radio's Bruce Levine. ... "
Weathers is old and has always sucked...Wagner is a kid and the Reds best young player. No way they deal him when he's just about to get his time to shine as a closer.

Knowing the Cubs it will be P. Wilson and Chacon rather than Dunn and Wagner. I think that would actually make them worse.
Or is it a 3 player deal?
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

ESPN Insider rumors have the title that the rockies are looking to deal wilson. anyone have access and want to see if there are any cubs specs in the article?
like I said in my 2 previous posts, all players are strictly rumored, the only thing that was for certain is that the Cubs and some NL team are finalizing a deal that would bring the Cubs a major hitter and bullpen help, Patterson might not even be involved he was just the rumored player, hell it could be Angel Guzman and Felix Pie, the Cubs top 2 prospects in the minors for all we know...and as for Beefcurtain, if you were to just turn on ESPN1000 here in Chicago when one of the local shows are on, that's all they are talking about
