The Brewers traded Sanchez to the Tigers today, and he is now their starting center fielder. People that want cheap steals should probably pick him up.

This is a good deal for Sanchez. The Brewers have been on his case for a while now. I don't know what he did to provoke the organization's ire, but it was made clear that he had permanently lost his starting job there.

In Detroit, he'll get a chance to play every day, and he should be allowed to steal bases, because, hey, when you're behind by 30 runs, what's the difference.

I sure am hoping he plays well here in Detroit. He is definitely a superior player when compared to Kingsdale and Torres. If nothing else, Sanchez was obtained rather cheap.
Let's see how Trammell manages this. This'll be the first time he'll have a speedster who can actually reach base from time to time. Given the green light most of the time, Sanchez should easily finish the season with 30+ steals.
