I don't want to know why you had Cardinal figurines laying around........
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
ex girl was a snatch about my fantasy sports, said they were childish and retarded, told her no thats just you haha... BUT the new girl is amazing and just wanted to know what i was doing, so i explained some stuff to her, and she wanted to know more and more so i keep telling her new stuff everyday, she stays interested and is actually pushing me to reopen my old keeper league... god darn love this girl!! haha
I found one that is interested in sports, but never really got into baseball.. last year she watched the playoffs and world series with me and really began to enjoy it... over the winter she actually asked me questions like "what is it about baseball that you like more than other sports?" and "who's your favorite baseball player?" (her's is evan longoria by the way!!) I told her my fantasy baseball draft was tonight and she actually asked me if she could come hang out and watch..... I WIN!

Sounds like she is the keeper.
If Ozzie Smith can make the Hall, why can't Rey Ordóñez?

My wife has started getting into fantasy sports with me. Most of the players she drafts are on the Red Sox, which is our local and favorite baseball team. She also picks players with the funniest names.
She does the same for fantasy football as well. The teams she picks in the NCAA Tournament are ones with the prettiest team colors, coolest mascot, and schools her friends and family attended. I believe she picked Duke to win it all this year because of their team name, Blue Devils.

i think it gives my girlfriend a comfort.. knowing that I'm sitting my fat ass on a couch with my computer in front of a baseball game on TV.. at least that way I'm not out talking to other girls and such..
