So is Wagner going to get he nod or not?

Are we going to see Miley do a Baker or will sanity prevail?

Your guess is as good as anyone else's. If it were up to me, Graves would still be the closer, and Wagner would be maturing in the setup role (he's not ready yet!). That said, he's a lot better than Weathers so if they truly couldn't stand Graves anymore, then I don't see why Wagner won't get the shot eventually.

I assumed that Wagner would be the man, but it looks like Wagner might be sharing duties...

from ESPN:
Manager Dave Miley doesn't plan to have a primary closer.

"We talked about looking at matchups. We'll use them all," Miley said. "We'll play it day by day."

No way Weathers is the closer. If the Reds wanted someone that bad they would have stuck with Graves. They guy has a 14 year career with a 4.47 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP

It is not like teams will be beating a path to sign Graves in 10 days that they need to give Cincy something in return for him.

They would trade for him if they thought there was a lot of competition and really wanted him. There's a lot of teams that could use some MR help. Make sure he's healthy, get him straightened out, and he could be helpful.
I'm back. Sorta.

no way weathers can be the main guy over the long haul. Graves has a better shot than he does.
