so if an OF juggles the ball the runners tag on first contact or once the catch is made?
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

Obvioulsy he must hold it before it's a catch.

i robbed a homerun in highschool and flipped over the fence but since I had a foot on the ground when I caught the ball he was out.

I don't think that's right

Ill say it one more time -- you must launch from playing field (fair or foul) catch ball while you are off ground and land in stands. That is a legal catch. CANNOT climb into stands then catch ball (fair or foul).

'tis just a flesh wound.

I think the same rules apply to foul outs.
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

The best catch I've ever seen in person was on a play like this. Happened way back in the 1960's at Fenway. Gary Geiger hit a bomb that a Cleveland OF named Al Luplow caught while going over the wall and into the bullpen. He held on and it was ruled an out.

If a player catches a ball with his cup he deserves the out. :-o
