Just seeing what some of you guys are doing that are grabbing these guys like Bernero & Wagner.

Are you just sitting on them to see what they'll do then trade them?

or

Are you guys picking them up & trading them immediately?

I have both of those guys & just seeing what the consensus is doing.

Well I am sort of playing it by ear. In one league I have been reduced to 3 starters with all the injuries. I now have 6 closers counting these guys. I am most definitely looking to unload 2 of them for 1 solid SP. In others I am more inclined to take a deal if someone is willing to pay decent return for a closer but am not actively trying to sell off a Bernero or a Wagner. Here too I would take an offer if the price was right though.

That's a real tough call. I find it really hard to get any value for those guys, so I generally have been hanging on to them. If you think the guy will be closing for a while or he looks good for more than a week and it is not an injury situation, you might want to trade one of your "name" closers to upgrade a position. You will find better value there than trying to trade Turnbow, Bernero, Wagner, etc...

I have done just that. Got in on Bernero, Missed Wagner by 20 minutes today. After getting Bernero I packaged Batista and Taverez for JD Drew.

I am hoping out of Fuentes or Bernero I get one right anyway.

I've actually been riding them. I only have one league that I drafted a strong closer BP. But I'm in 1st or 2nd in all my leagues in saves. Hermanson, Turnbow, Jones, Walker, Urbina, heck, I even got a save out of Marte. I've tried to trade players - even tried to move one of my big name closers (Wagner and Ryan in particular). No one has bit on any of my closers except in one of my four leagues - I got Berkman for Turnbow a day before Berkman came off the DL.
