Anyone else worried about Billy Wagner? If the Phillies end up crying 'uncle' at some point and Wagner gets traded to a contender, how worried are folks that he might end up in middle relief/setup role (especially as a lefty)? I don't see the Yanks (for instance) demoting Rivera...

Wagner is very expensive. I don't see a team taking him on to set up anyone. The only worries I have about him are health wise.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

My only worry with Wagner is the Phils either getting too many runs or not enough runs to give him any save situations.

Oh, how quickly people forget.
Short of Rivera, Wagner is probably one of the most impressive closers of the past decade. This guy set the single-season record for K/9. Before he was hurt last season, he was considered the #2/3 option just behind Gagne and right there with Smoltz.
I'm most worried about injuries and save opps... nothing else.
Help please:

Harden- 2.15 ERA, 7.61 K/9
Peavy - 2.89 ERA, 10.10 K/9

And if you think his K/9 are impressive, take a look at his K/BB from last year. Around 10 I believe?

Wagner is sick he's like 5 '8 and throws 100 mph...pretty good...I wouldn't mind him going somewhere else opening up a closer spot would be nice
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment
