I just looked at CBS Sportsline list of most dropped players, and sitting there big and fat at #5 is none other than Vlad. The guy goes on the DL and OVER A QUARTER OF CBS OWNERS CUT HIM. I know there are dumb people playing fantasy, but i had no idea it was this bad.
In the past week, Vlad has gone from being owned by 100% down to 73%.

I wouldn't say it's a good shot. More of an outside chance. More than likely, he's going to miss between 2 and 3 months...
Until the MRI comes back and we hear it's worse than what Vlad thinks it is, the chances are he'll be back in a couple weeks. To say "there is a good shot Vlad is done for the year" or "he's going to miss between 2 and 3 months" is entirely pre-mature. Until the doctor examines him, Vlad is the best resource for estimating how much time he'll miss... not cafe members.
even if he only misses 2-3 months, that leaves september and a little bit of august. While I wouldn't drop him, he probably would miss the entire year and even if he doesn't I think he'll have a little trouble in September getting going again.
Leyland said, "We thought we were getting a hell of a player, but Neifi simply did not perform well."
Not an excuse, because I personally wouldn't drop him until the tests were in, BUT from what I've heard some of those CBS leagues have no bench and no DL slots. Also I believe they have to set their weekly rosters by Monday morning. Sounds like these owners decided to field a full roster rather than wait on Vlad's medical reports? Personally I woulda played a man short for at least a week.
