OK, so let's hypothetically say that Wagner flames out. Who would the other options be in Cincy? It's a question worht asking in very deep or NL only leagues.
I know Graves is beyond terrible, but does anyone have any speculation as to whether he'll have a chance to close somewhere else? Would you cut him for Kolb?
stumpak, see my earlier post in the thread that mentions the left-right situational match-up between mercker and wagner. now, again, my guess is that wagner will run away with the job. but if not, it's at least curious that mercker's name came up. the reds don't really have anyone else that would be remotely capable.

My thoughts exactly...I have Graves and I don't want to drop him just yet, but Wagner has been gone in my league for some time, and if Graves doesn't get a closing gig somewhere I'm thinking of either punting saves since I just have Wagner and Street or maybe picking up someone who has a shot at closing sometime this season. Any insight on Graves' next job?
