Graves DESIGNATED for ASSIGNMENT

awesome news, i've been dead last in saves in my 5X5 all year, and after drafting Percival, Borowski and Adams, i've converted that into Bernero, Turnbow, Hermanson and now Wagner...so hopefully i can finally climb out of last.

i had picked up Bruney as a fill-in for this week adn was gonna drop him for Escobar once lineups were set, but now i dropped Pecival and Bruney for Escobar and Wagner (only 2 DL spots, so i couldnt hold onto Percy with Wood taking up the other). not a bad day for me

thanks Cafe ;-D

I picked up Wagner. You know that feeling when you hear news, but you're too late because someone else picked up a guy before you in the league? I love giving others that feeling. Thanks Cafe.

i just heard an update from 1360 sports animal that quoted dan o'brien as saying they'll start out with lefty-righty situations: mercker and wagner.

my guess is that this will be fleeting. again, i fully expect wagner to assume the role in its entirety.

Forget my league implications (and there are many)...

What are the Reds thinking? Why swallow all that money? They'll trade him, but he's not THAT bad, right?
I'm back. Sorta.

Anyone think Graves ends up on the Cubs, complicating that situation even more?

I could see the Yankees trading for him. He's bad, but worth it to teams that need some relief help.

let me put it this way. his last 2 outings were not save situations. miley/o'brien are both quoted as saying that these were trial situations, just to see if he could respond.

he could not. he cannot. the man is inept. watch the whip, my friend. any team genuinely looking for r-e-l-i-e-f is not going to want that punk on their team. :-P

Wow, Graves was traded with Uribe for Mulder in my league just last Friday. 8-o Guess I know who's finishing last in my league now.

Sadly, Wagner is already owned in my league. :-/
