John Buck has been hitting well this week

He was pretty highly touted last year...any thoughts on how he will perform this year?

Probably like a catcher that still belongs in AAA ball. He'll be too inconsistent to have any kind of fantasy impact this year.

His numbers do look really good over the last seven games, but I'm not sure if it means too much. I've heard he should be a good power hitter, but it's questionable how good his average or other numbers will be. If you're short at catcher, though, it might not hurt to take a flier on him... especially in AL only leagues.

KC has a catcher I thought they eliminated that position due to the fact that they have no budget and most balls are hit before reaching the catchers mitt ;-)

He can wreck you BA for a week in amazing fashion. Stay away until he shows more consistency.
