Morneau, Beltre and Beckett for Dunn, Burnitz, Towers and Wright
Dunn and Wright are decent enough. Morneau and Beckett are too. Burnitz and Towers vs a slumping Beltre.
Maybe not a great trade but that is hardly a hideously bad deal.
You want bad...try:
Soriano, Willis, Hoffman, Batista and Brady Claek
for
Vlad (after the injury), M. Giles, D, Ward, and 2 MR scrubs.
Huh, which Wright? David or Jaret?
I know how you feel. I have two guys in my league that just don't get whats going on. One guy has 12 in saves and steals and 3 or below in just about everything else and won't trade at all.
What can you do this season? In yahoo i can't give the teams to someone else. I also can't just kick these guys out midway as they are my friends. I have to try and coach them and if that doesn't work I have to NOT invite them next season. The mistake here is simple:
I didn't do my home work before inviting these guys.
Here's my point, if a guy makes a bad trade that's one thing. Understandable. but for a last place team to lose out on lopsided deals to the same two teams every season, he doesn't belong. he is clearly outclassed. and no matter how much some here would defend this trade by bashing Beckett and Beltre and talking up adam Dunn (whose never seen the sunny side of .270) it is a bad trade.
Just one in a long list of terrible moves by a terrible owner and frankly I've had it with him in the league.

It seems like he is. But instead of whining, why don't you take advantage?
Rate my team, leave me a link!

i dont consider that deal lopsided at all.... looks like a good deal to me and actually depending on team needs would decide who was the "winner" of this deal

Every year he gets drunk with his friends in the league at a Mets game and the results are posted on the transaction wire the next day. Unfortunatly not everyone in the league has inside access to his stupidity.
He doesn't respond to trade proposals from other owners to the best of my knowledge.
Not a bunk league just one guy who gives his team to his two buddies. He's newer and before he joined we never had these problems, but thanks for the input.
That deal isn't that bad. I think that Beckett is the most valuable part of the deal. If you are having that many problems then you need to join a different league.
