Think Kolb will ever get his job back?

Kolb, Bruney, Wood, Sisco, and Fuentes are all sitting there on the FA pile. They stuck with Kolb through his awful struggles, so do you think he'd POSSIBLY get another chance to close? I still think he's the best option out of all these "closers"

I'm pretty sure a guy that got 40 saves last season will get another shot again this year.

I can't see it. All he throws is a 94mph fast ball and a 91 to 89mph changeup? ( I think) I don't think i've seen a slider out of this guy yet.

He's batting practice to those hitters at that level.

He's the equivalent to the RP one year wonder as to what Zito was a few years back to SP.

He got tagged again tonight. A dinger, a Triple, 2 walks, and struck out the side lol.. what a joke.. he just tries to throw to hard, and his testosterone gets in the way of his pitching. Either he's stupid, or someone told him he's throwing 100mph with ease. (he thinks he is)

Unless he adds a 80mph straight change up with a 84 mph curve ball to boot, he's doomed at the major league level.

He got the save again last night. Gave up a leadoff hr in the 9th with a final line of 1.0 ip, 2h, 1w, 3k.

He basically let the tying run steal 2b off of him by ignoring him and generally looked bad, but he got the save.

Personally, I'm glad I dropped him. That's pretty much how EVERY save that he got looked and I need the whip/era more than I need the saves.

I have Kolb right now and I don't want to drop him... yet. I picked up Bernero and Reitsma is off the market. I do have Urbina, Mota, and F. Cordero so I am not exactly hurting, but some clarity from Bobby would be great. Percival is on the WW... maybe I'll stash him in place of Kolb.

Reitsma is their best reliever this eason... and he's the only one who didn't pitch in today's game. Both Bernero and Kolb pitches in a lost cause... Sign that Cox is not seeing them in the closer role. The only one who didn't pitch is Reitsma... sign that the guy is kept for closing games.

Go get Reitsma... like i just did.
