Along the same lines of buy low/sell high, I was hoping you guys could point me to some players who have consistently put up big 2nd halfs. Pitchers or hitters, doesn't matter.
Also, who are notorious "Mr. Aprils"?
Guys I've thought of:
Big 2nd Half: Huff, Pierre, Delgado, C.Lee, Chavez
Mr. April: Hillenbrand, IRod, Thome
Any thoughts?

Jason Kendall turned his year around in the 2nd half last year and I think some previous years hes been a second half player. HE might be a top one on your list
Screw the Peavy and Burnett Watches, I'm probably one of the laziest people in the world

Chipper and Eric Chavez are two that come to mind.

adrian beltre used to be a big 2nd half guy. Then he decided both halves were the 2nd half. Maybe he forgot that this year, and will return to being a 2nd half guy.

I looked at Huff's second half stats and immediatley became intruiged. He's like night and day. I traded Damon for him because I need power. Hopefully Thome and Pierre also have big second halves.

I also remember last year at the same time thinking Huff was a 2nd half monster. Think I could get him for Clint Barmes? Should I try?
Carlos Lee is a summer monster also... I think someone mentioned him.

I bet you could. An owner who doesn't look at splits would probably make that trade.

I offered Ensberg who I picked up in FA last week and John Patterson. I wonder if he'll bite. I think that's a fair offer if he's looking to unload Huff.
