Any news on the injury of Loretta?!?!? Last I heard he was getting it checked out, but that's it. I hope it's not serious cause he's my only second baseman :-o :-o :-o

There is such a thing called clutch and David Ortiz is the modern day definition of it

Thanks much for the update DMarv. I too was wondering if there was news other than the Mon check-up. And since it's either Loretta or Langerhans in my DH spot, I'll go with Loretta this week. Come to think of it, even if Loretta weren't playing this week, I'd go with Loretta.

Not injury related, but if he doesn't start producing more than just a .300 average, he's WW material. He hasn't stole a base in a month. He only has 6 extra base hits all year (5 2B, 1 3B). Are these numbers you'd expect out of a supposedly top 5 2nd baseman?

He can laugh for the next couple months...

Loretta was just on the radio down here in San Diego, and said he will be having surgery on his thumb. Out for 2 months minimum... !+)
