How does this work? That girl's life has been completely marred and this guy will have nothing on his record to show for it. The penalties set by the government continue to baffle me.

And in other news, the guys who robbed me just committed their sixth armed robbery. A man at Pointsettia Park (about two miles from where I was robbed) was forced, at gunpoint, to drive to the bank and withdraw money from his account for the same three suspects (to avoid the whole "racist" bit) that I was. Grrr. I swear I will catch these guys.

Know what really pisses me off? Star Wars is on Fox instead of Family Guy. I can see Star Wars any time I want, but not a new Family Guy :-t

This sort of thing is inexcusable. I've been complaining about a similar incident for months now.

About a block and a half away from my house, a man convicted of child molestation lives. He was convicted in 1999. He's been living up the street for about a year and a half that I know about. Which means that his sentence was - at most - 4 1/2 years. At the same time, my girlfriend's brother was convicted of selling marijuana. He's in prison for no less than 6 years.

Our priorities are completely misplaced in this country.
