And Olerud should DEFINITELY not be on there. I took the mention of his name as a joke at first, but he's on the list. Olerud is like the exact opposite of a hot head. A-rod shouldn't be considered a hot head, I mean, I hate the guy, but he handles himself VERY well. Sheff is definitely a hot head, for many reasons. Remember his run ins with the Dodgers back in the day. I don't know much about Olerud, but he never seemed that hot headish. Kent and Bonds definitely need to be on the list. And if we're going with whiny, why not Griffey Jr.

yeah... Sheff's a GREAT guy. Anyone remember that SI article from last year, the one of the:

"I thank the Lord for giving me talent, all praise to God etc etc etc"

Followed by:

"Bonds is a druggie, the only way he could possibly have more homeruns than me is steroids. No one is that much better than me."

"Ichiro sucks. If I wanted to, I could hit .400 by only hitting singles. I'm much better than he is."

winner :-t

No way to ARod, Papi, or Olerud. Sheff gets on it. I really don't see Randall Simon as a hothead- he had one incident with a mascot, and he was just playing around and screwed up. Lloyd McClendon can be the manager though... his scenes are always fun ;-D

I'm almost positive he was joking. Whoever was compiling this list probably wasn't familiar with Olerud and thought it was sincere. Olerud is one of the most level headed players in the game.
