welp, if anyone remembers 2001, bill mueller was having a career year looking year with the cubs. me and a friend of mine referred to him as the MVP before he messed up his leg by sliding into a brick wall after a foul ball. he was hitting like .290/5/20 or something. last year, he stunk offensively... this season, he seems to have found his groove. the red sox are getting him ABs, and he looks to be the pesky hitter he was for the cubs in '01. i dont think his #s will blow you away, but .280/15/75 wouldn't be too unthinkable for this guy... so hey, if that looks like it could help you, give him a shot. he's a quality guy, and his solid D usually means that he'll be around the lineups for quite some time.
