They are really pissing me off seeing as I have Posada/Soriano/Giambi on my team. Every time I look I see the Yankees only scoring like 1-3 runs a game while the other team is scoring 6+runs. This is rediculous...when are the REAL Yankees going to come back?
i can see people ripping the Yanks, especially the way they are playing, but what's to be excited about Boston. They got no pitching aside from Pedro, who's as fragile as peanut brittle, Lowe has shown to be a fluke, Fossum isn't anything special, Burkett gives up tons of runs, and whoever their 5th guy is ain't anything to write home about. The only thing they got is Pedro, Nomar, and Manny.

Alright, I'm not really a Yankees or Red Sox fan... but really, the only thing they have is Pedro, Nomar, and Manny? Only a fan of the ridiculously stacked Yankees would say that... How many teams would absolutely love to have 3 players of that caliber to base a team around? I think in a game of Pedro, Nomar, and Manny against a full Detroit Tigers lineup, my money is on the three Sox. Feel free to substitute "Detroit Tigers" with "San Diego Padres," "Tamba Bay Devil Rays," etc.

I was just kidding about the Yanks, but you shouldn't talk about what you don't even know.
Lowe has been lights out at home and that will eventually translate to the road. Their lineup is right up there with the Yanks. Millar has been solid all year, and Muellar is batting highest average in the Majors. The lineup has been producing solid numbers even when Manny isn't crushing it like his norm.
I know we aren't going to agree on this, but just don't insult another team when you don't know jack about them.
Anyone who thinks the Yankees will continue to be anywhere near this bad over the course of the season is kidding themselves. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of the team...it's just that the team is really too good to play this bad. And frankly, they're too good to lose the pennant to the sox, too.
The fifth pitcher--or more like second, but the one you don't name--is Tim Wakefield, who has outpitched Clemens in his last two outings, even though Clemens got win 299. Wake pitched very well today.
Another overlooked Red Sock is Todd Walker....hitting at the top of that powerful lineup....34 R, 25 RBI and a .321 AVG. He'll bang em off the monsta all year long.

The Yankees suck right now! See that big smile on my face? I have to admit though, that they've had their share of injuries, but still...if they are the top team, that they always claim to be, they'll just have to scuk it up and get over it and start playing with what they have. (Which is still a whole lot better than that what the Tigers have) Contreras is the biggest flop I've seen since Mike Hampton and Denny Neagle in Colorado! I'm rooting for the Sox to end the Yankees tenure in the AL East!
