Spivey-Does anybody know what the D-Backs are doing?

I've got Spivey on my fantasy squad and I was hoping SOMEBODY might know the rhyme or reason that Brenly sits him. (i.e. does he sit Spivey against lefties, or just good pitchers, or what?)

I really don't get it. The guy was an all-star last year. Since stinking up the first month he's been tearing it up, but he's still getting sit down to let Baerga play!

I was wondering the same thing about Spivey. I had Durham, he went on the DL, I picked up Spivey. Then Spivey misses 4 games in mid-May, and 2 over the weekend. On ESPN.com, it says that he has some neck pain. No Durham is back off the DL, but who knows if he'll play regularly coming off of a nasty-looking ankle injury.

maybe hte ghost of don baylor has posessed bob brenly, along with bob boone, and he's so neurotic about righty/lefty matchups that he'll sit a hot player to get some crap veterans like delluci, counsell, grace, or the like at bats.
