I'm hearing that if he has 2-3 more good starts, he should be promoted to AA.
If he pitches well in his next start, he will get moved up within 10 days.
He's already proven his dominance over A batters. It's been nothing more than staying healthy that has haunted Hamels.
IF IF IF he can stay healthy and dominate AA like he has A throughout July, there's a strong chance he could get moved up to the big show if Ed Wade cannot make a move to bring a lefty into the rotation.
But, in all honesty, Hamels, most likely, will finish in AA this season and be a starter in 2006.
