Please help my team

I was offered brain Giles and freddy Garcia for Tim Hudson. My Other starters are oswalt, vasquez, meche and carlos vambrano. i am last in all offenseive categories except for stolen bases, with

dunn
bernie
blalock
edgardo alfonso
derek lee
druham
pierre
floyd
renteria

What should I do Please help, thanks.

I wouldn't do it. Giles is undeniably great, but you have Bonds, Dunn, Pierre, and Bernie when he gets back, so your outfield is fine. Losing Hudson would hurt your pitching too much. Garcia is just a brutally bad pitcher.

I would do it, but make him give you a decent pitcher, too. You need offense and Giles will give you're BA a big boost, (especially since you have Dunn) and he'll hit HR's.

As it is, this is basically Giles for Hudson. Garcia has pitched awful all year long and so far there's no reason to think he'll snap out of it. He is waiver wire material this year. You should be able to get a little more for Giles. At least a decent closer, but maybe a decent starter..
