Currently hitting .290 with 6 dingers, 22 RBI, 23 Runs, and very low K's (11). He's been coming on veryyy strong as of late, incl. a 2-run triple so far in today's game through 3 AB's. I'm glad I held out on him.

If he manages to stay healthy, he is quite a sleeper. He's got great power and BAL is scoring a ton of runs this year. Hopefully Mazilli will come to his senses and swap him with Palmeiro in the lineup.

Sounds like a potential good pick up.
Is he a full-time starter?
What happens when Sammy comes back?

that's the problem Sammy will play every day when he comes back. Mazzili is too young and won't want to sit Sammy a lot because he'll cry. i agree though Gibbons should get more steady time, and Palmero should sit some. alwasy like Gibbbons, he hasn't had a 600 AB healthy season yet. i wanted the Yankees to get him couple years ago.
