Well only pitchers on my squad get hurt...and I do not own Bonderman in any league, so he must be fine.

Detroit News writer Tom Gage just said on AM 1270 that Bonderman complained of a "dead arm" earlier in the week. Gage said Bonderman is probably fine and a pitcher's arm cant feel great all of the time. It probably means nothing, and is just for precaution measures.

Mayve he is taking too many swings during batting practive for Interleague:


Carlos Zambrano has been banned from batting practice.
The Cubs think his arm soreness stems from him taking too many swings, as opposed to him throwing too many pitches. This is turning into quite a saga, and the fact he threw 136 pitches in his last full outing still seems like the obvious answer to the questions surrounding his injury. However, the batting theory takes some of the heat off Dusty Baker, if people are buying it.

Does anyone else think it's weird that all of a sudden MLB is testing for steroids and all of a sudden there seems to be more injuires this year?

Obviously it wouldn't be wise to speculate, but I assume some (maybe one or two even) of all the pitchers on the DL this year are having problems due to being off steroids. Apparently a little under half of the steroids busts from the past year were on pitchers.

*Disclaimer* I don't think Bonderman was on steroids.
