Perhaps, but the good news is that from 5/24 - 6/1 six of Oakland's nine games are against Tampa Bay (one of the worst pitching staffs in the majors). Granted, he didn't bat all that great against them earlier this year, but let's hope for revival!
Since he's essentially been a 90/20/100/.280 hitter over the past four years, I'd say he'll probably keep it up.
I mean, I drafted him high b/c he was on pace to hit 40 dongs last year if not for injury. Patience is a virtue (although he's stuck on my bench right now... stupid weekly locked rosters!).
Ugh, I don't even want to get involved in this right now.
Bench Chavez. He sucks. He's a scrub. All his baseball talent that he's amassed throughout his career is all gone now. He couldn't hit a baseball to save his life. All you guys are right. Drop him. Trade him for Bret Myers. It'll save you a lot in the long run.

trying a little reverse pyschology?
Not at all. If people think Chavez sucks, who am I to tell them otherwise? Maybe he does? Get rid of him while you can folks. It's all downhill from here. If you can get Aaron Boone, take it.

not actually very bad advise. he's put together a few good games and my finally be turning the corner. what's more, he stole his first base of the year a couple days ago. about time for someone i had down for 20 this year.
